The Role of microservice in cloud-native projects

The role of Microservice in cloud-native projects

Microservices in cloud native projects are found on the crowded streets of software architecture or cloud-native computing. The microservices in cloud-native projects happen to take an integral position that continues to disrupt and galvanize markets for Application delivery infrastructure.

Its growth will undoubtedly present opportunities and a new challenge for Application vendors. Although Microservice has existed for some years now, it somehow remains the talk of the town; with many big web giants like Amazon, Netflix, Twitter, Paypal and the Guardian adopting a microservice architecture. As the saying goes, “no one wants to be left behind,” that must have been the trend for most companies who wanted to step into a new dimension of microservice away from the rigid monolith architecture.

However, you’d be more curious to find out what has changed since then. Does Microservice in cloud-native projects play any vital role, or is it just another buzzword cheering the crowd. Let’s find out.

What is Microservice Architecture?

Before I start defining what Microservice is, let’s look at this scenario of how the world responds to software challenges. If we look back a decade, the software service of an organization was majorly managed from the back-office, which were mostly physical products.

Products were deployed using the monolith architecture, but the problem is that the system is built in such a way that allows all the code components to work together as one cohesive unit, sharing memory space. In other words, the software produced on Monolith Arch is self-contained; the pieces are linked to one another. If developers intend to make changes, they will need to build and deploy the whole stack altogether, which usually takes time, effort and limited flexibility.

But there is a difference now. Microservice tends to solve these issues. The Microservice architecture can be described as a system of small, independent, standalone services/apps that can be combined to form a functioning system. Microservices are standalone apps that enable developers in teams to build and test different parts of an application separately without affecting other standalone services. With this in view, the existing infrastructure becomes very easy to manage.

Many businesses have digitized their services, thereby delivering mainly digital products and services to their clients. Meanwhile, the demand for immersive user experience is surging, and along with the challenging market, competition has pushed many businesses to search for systems that guarantee quick software and update delivery.

The benefit of microservice in Cloud-Native Projects

Microservices offer complex multi-interface roles to various cloud-native projects. Such functions they provide are;

Simple Pipeline for Building and Maintaining Apps

Microservices revolves around simplicity. Since its primary focus is on cloud-native deployment, applications get more comfortable to develop and manage when they link separately as standalone units. For instance, since each microservice can be controlled independently, an effect on memory usage or server issues will not affect the entire system, and resolving problems with that unit can be compensated quickly.

Autonomous, Enable Distributed teams.

Let me say this straight, carrying out a large dev project on a monolith architecture can get puzzling if you are collaborating with extended teams. But here is something exciting; Microservices allow cross functioning teams to work independently and make swift decisions in smaller units. Hence speeds up the time to delivery, while avoiding technical debt.

Organized Around Business Capabilities

The long-term goal is to build products that means the needs of the business. Instead of focusing on leveraging diverse technologies in making the product, Microservice allows developers to focus on building products focused on end-user functionality and business capabilities. Even Windows virtual desktop adopts Microservice in executing its cloud projects.

Microservices addresses large and sometimes, complex business problems by using smaller and efficient services to approach and solve them. Organizations and project leaders are beginning to hop on board in implementing the use of microservices in the development of cloud-native projects.

Microsoft teams: all you need to know and why businesses should consider it as the new normal

Microsoft teams

Skype, Yammer, Slack, and the others have helped businesses, but do you know that you are still behind if they are all you use? Have you heard of Microsoft teams and do you know it’s got the best offer for you? Let me put you through.

Microsoft Teams is the tool that neatly packs all you got from the Skype, Slack and other platforms into a neat small purse with a little bit of more.

What is Microsoft Teams?

Microsoft Teams is a chat-based system of communication for business. It allows groups of people from an office, those working on the same project, or members of same interest groups to come together and have a free flow of communication.

This app is a collaborative communication app that can be used by both small and large scale enterprises, individuals like teachers, freelancers, students and anyone that works on Office 365. It has features like texts, VoIP, and video calls with integrated Office and SharePoint. All these options are organized to serve you in a user-friendly interface.

On this platform, you can meet with your co-workers or others who share in your interest; share and work on files as a team. This work can be done through a real-time desktop (with windows, Linux or Mac), a web-based app or a mobile app which you can access through to android, iPhone or iPad.

How can I communicate with Microsoft Teams?

The communication on Teams is made through channels. A channel is a segment of a team that allows organized sharing is information.

These channels are of two types: the standard and private. The standard channels are groups where you can communicate with everyone in the team if you wish. However, you can select the people you want to add to the standard channel.

With the private, you can send messages and files to a limited number of people. This channel can be created if every team member should not know the information you want to share.

It is possible to create more channels according to your desires with Teams. You can pin and unpin any channel at will. But you will make more out of your channels by extending them with bots, tabs abs connectors that will be valuable to your team members.

How Microsoft Teams can help your business

Businesses are currently seeking for a tool that can speed up their communication without misinforming their members and getting them to work together and meet the deadline. Microsoft Teams is that tool. It allows quick messaging and easy sharing of files.

Also, since it allows for easy integration of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, so, when preparing for a presentation, one team member can be making the slides while on his way from Hawaii, and the other is preparing the graph while waiting for him to land at the airport. When they finish, they turn the work online, and the work is done.

The group can never be too small to contain all your team members, the groups can take up to 999 members, and you can always create more groups.

Can I use Microsoft Teams?

Microsoft Teams is on Office 365 suite and is available for those with the following Office 365 plans:

  • Office 365 Business Premium
  • Business Essential
  • Office 365 Enterprise including E1, E3, E4 (if you got it before retirement), E5, and F1
  • Office 365 Education
  • Office 365 Education Plus
  • Office 365 Education E5

How to get started

To set up your Teams account, visit the Teams website and sign in your Microsoft account. If you have no account, create an account on the same page. With your account signed in, click the tab “Get The Windows App” to download and install to your device.

To use the web version, click on the tab below the one for downloads. You can use this browser version for many functions except making calls and setting up a meeting. So, I’ll prefer you to sign in through the app.

A page will pop up informing you of the available plans, choose or bypass that to the page where you will decide whether you want to create a team or join an already existing one.

To join, click on “Already Using Teams” and sign in. To create new, click “Sign Up For Free” and enter your email and name of your organization. Set up Teams when you are done.

Follow the next pages until you are done to complete your set up and invite members.

What is the cost of getting Teams?

You can get Teams for free if you have less than 300 people to add to the group, you can use the free version. This version will let you chat over the voice, text and video. However, if you have more intending members, or want more integration, you can pay a token of $5 per month for the premium.

The premium version will give you better security, better storage, access to official support, and more features for meetings. It will also provide you with Microsoft yammer, planner, SharePoint, and stream apps.

Again,  if you need something higher that can provide you with the desktop version of Microsoft office word, outlook and the rest, you will need to go for the package that costs $12.5 monthly.

This amount will be paid by every user and maybe a bit higher if you pay monthly instead annually. You can learn more about the pricing structure by visiting Microsoft’s website.

What differentiates Microsoft Teams from Slack?

Choosing between Slack and teams and be tough because they both offer quality services. However, the team provide some detailed options compared to Slack. Some people may choose to go for Slack’s 5GB over Teams’ 2GB storage for files, but you may find Teams better with the following:

  • Teams offer an excellent first-tier payment plan of $5 monthly while Slack gives $6. 67
  • With Teams, you can get more features including conference scheduling, screen sharing between users, and detailed recording of meetings.
  • Teams is a product from Microsoft, so it integrates with almost all its other products and even office 365 in the free plan. Meanwhile, Slack integrates Google products and others.

These two have some similar and different integration. Before making a choice, find out which one has the combination you will need for your business. if you will like to know more about Windows virtual desktop, you can check it out here

Here is why Windows Virtual Desktop can keep a lot of businesses actively working Remotely

windows virtual desktop as the new normal

The World Health Organization (WHO) calls for everyone to practice social distancing as a result of the outbreak of the Corona Virus. This is the major reason various businesses and organizations have embraced remote work and virtual collaboration via Windows virtual desktop support. Resorting to remote work is the most impactful thing employers can do today to address this sudden threat to human existence and economic regression.

While some organizations have existing structures to adapt to this latest development, others have been caught unaware. In navigating different approaches to aid working remotely, let us consider a very functional and reliable tool- Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD). WVD is currently available in public preview, providing users with a multi-session windows experience and virtualizing the cloud available on any device.

What is Windows Virtual Desktop?

Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) provides DAAS and is based on Microsoft Azure. This system virtualizes your windows operating system and provides the virtualized desktops and applications in the cloud. Just like cloud applications are, WVD frees desktops from being housed on a specific computer. This means that your windows, files, folders, and emails can be accessed from any PC or mobile device, anytime and anywhere in the world. Isn’t this fascinating?

Now Imagine you worked on a project on the desktop computer A in your office and at the close of business, you need to access some information from your previous work or continue working on the project. You need not worry about WVD. You can have access to the windows of computer A on the laptop or tablet at home and just continue working on the project. With this, there would be no need to move around with laptops or storage devices to access information.

Why Choose WVD?

windows virtual desktop
windows virtual desktop

WVD competes with all other Desktop-as-a-Service (DAAS) and VDI options. One obvious advantage is that it is the only service that supports Windows 7 and the multi-user interface. On WVD mode, your applications can run from windows 7 through windows 10. Local apps like MS Word,

PowerPoint and the rest can be run and integrated into the start menu. This does not consume time to pop up as it would just look and feel like a local app. Like services might need to integrate with WVD to remain relevant for consumers. We can remain focused on achieving enterprise goals whilst in the heart of this pandemic using WVD. I have listed some major gains of incorporating WVD into your business for remote work:

Full Desktop Appearance

You just need an Azure subscription to add virtual desktops for your users without needing to use any gateway servers. This means a lesser task for your IT personnel and lesser cost for running virtual desktops and apps since no additional server is required.

When you have a new hire remotely, you can have a WVD provisioned to them in just minutes. There’s no need to worry. You could save a WVD configuration for different departments of your organization that contains the business applications relevant to them. Then when you have a new user in that department, all you must do is deploy that particular configuration for the employee.

Multi-User Sessions

Outlook and other Office apps traditionally require data persistence to provide the best experience. However, a common configuration for many virtualized environments is a non-persistent multi-user session. With WVD, you can get more than one user on a virtual machine and it is a lot more efficient than running a one-to-one scenario. You need not worry about storage. The storage is mounted to whatever virtual machine you are logged into and it looks like it is persistent and running from the C-drive. This can be great for offices that use shared spaces, hot-desking, contractors, and law enforcement workers.

Multi-Platform Friendly

Windows Virtual Desktop is fully compatible to run on Windows, Mac, iPhone/iPad, and Android devices. So, your employees have the option to use several ways to connect to their WVD. This offers flexibility and improves productivity since employees can access their workstation from their preferred device.

Better Security

Your system Software, emails, and files that are being housed on a physical device stand the risk of being lost when a computer suffers crashes or gets stolen. This in turn can affect business, but with Windows Virtual Desktops, you get total control of your business workstations because all the data is being stored in your Azure virtual environment. This means that you won’t lose anything should a computer be stolen or suffer damage.

Reduces Hardware Costs

When you are using traditional computers for workstations, you need to buy business computers with the right configuration, memory, and storage space. But when using virtual desktops, you can use PCs with minimal specifications to access the virtual environment. All the storage, memory, and processing power would be handled by the cloud server, so there is less demand put on the device specifications to acquire for employees.

Supports Business Continuity

Business continuity is assured with WVD especially during this pandemic. This is the major reason all companies would adopt cloud solutions. When their data is safely stored in a virtual environment, a company can be resilient in the case of a natural or manmade disaster happening at their premises.

Final Words

Windows Virtual desktop is a key tool for working remotely. It is highly effective for desktop virtualization and is essential to keep the business running in case of emergencies and immediate disruptions like the coronavirus outbreak. Businesses can remain uninterrupted and focused on delivering services and getting results.

The AI and Data science Impact In the creation Of Coronavirus Vaccine.

AI and Data science impact

According to Euronews and as at the time of writing, the numbers of infected cases and deaths are 2,671,538 and 358,104 respectively. Amidst the global outbreak and trend of events that follow suit, it would not be an overstatement to ascertain that the covid-19 pandemic just might extend longer than expected. If so, the creation of a vaccine or implementation of a verified herbal cure could be the best course of action to help manage the epidemic in the long term  and AI and Data science impact has gone a long way in helping this objective.

Conventionally, for a new plague such as coronavirus, it could take several years for a persistent and reliable vaccine to be developed. In this light, many a-list technological companies cutting across the spheres of AI, data science, machine learning, and information technology are establishing novel systems to check the virus. This network of technology, if integrated into a single platform, could predict and model how existing drugs “dock” with the protein strand of the coronavirus.

Considering its wide-ranging impact on our daily lives, the search for a cure for covid-19 has become an urgent endeavor worldwide. However, employing the most recent advancements in technology, the development process could be sped up; as a result, is expected to be delivered much sooner than later. Below, i describe several ways through which AI and Data science impact could help catalyze the creation of a vaccine.

Prediction and Modelling

The idea is to use deep learning to examine a vast number of cell structures and molecular details, to pinpoint molecules that best cling to the proteins of the sars-cov2 virus. A good example of this is the three-way neural networks design by Argonne national laboratories and cerebral systems. Cerebra cs-1 system is ultrafast AI computer that enables the system to answer more questions and explore more ideas in less time, drastically reducing training time across the entire neural networks.

Because of Argonne being an arm of the US department of energy and employing the record-breaking performance of cs-1, it further provisions super-computing capabilities that would otherwise have been impossible for any national laboratory to get their hands on. The biennium partnership recently witnessed its first working solution following the deployment of the cs-1. This improved ai accelerator incorporated into a system of neural network designs would dramatically expedite the search for a cure for covid-19.

Development Of Drugs

Other noteworthy ai firms such as Google’s Deepmind and Benevolentai are actively engaged in research that would aid the development of potent drugs for the coronavirus. Deepmind uses its ai superb computation power and algorithms to understand the proteins constituents of the virus among other things, and publishes these findings for use by other third-party drug producing companies.

benevolentai utilizes such data to build drugs that can combat the world toughest illnesses – in this case covid-19. Given that this is the first time benevolentai has focused its research towards infectious diseases, it made significant impact after predicting existing drugs that might work within weeks of the first outbreak. More so, chinese cloud computing corporations like huawei, tencent and didi are offering their resources of supercomputers to adopt the development of a vaccine for the virus swiftly.

AI and Data Science impact

During a global pandemic such as covid-19, various contemporary technological processes are put to the test. Data science have proven to be crucial to helping societies effectively deal with the widespread of the virus. Big data has been employed in a wide range of industrial application domains, including healthcare – where an electronic healthcare record (EHR) is used to facilitate medical services. For example; the use of health big data to potentially proffer patient health analysis, diagnosis assistance, and drug manufacturing.

Big data can be generated from several sources which may include online social graphs, mobile devices (i.e. smartphones), IoT devices (i.e. sensors), and public data in various formats such as text or video. In the context of covid-19, big data refers to the patient care data such as physician notes, x-ray reports, case history, list of doctors and nurses, and information of outbreak areas.

Generally, data science involves the information asset characterized by such a high volume, velocity and variety to acquire specific technology and analytical methods for its transformation into useful information to serve the end-users.

Tesla’s New Electric Automobile and The Automobile Industry In Africa

Elon Musk for electrc automobile

Cars have become essential tools for easy navigation of remote places for economic, social and a host of other gains. In Africa, cars have become the most popular means of transportation. Hence, innovators as Elon Musk have been tinkering on the future of cars with his electric automobile invention.

The gains and comfort owed to this automobile innovation does not completely rule out the negative impact of its use, which includes but not limited to; emission of greenhouse gases, accidental deaths, air and noise pollution.

Despite the adverse effects, the comfort and ease which cars offer in meeting economic and social interactions in the present century makes it an essential commodity which cannot be done away with.

In Africa, these effects can be traced majorly to the importation of used vehicles. Large import of used cars from other countries especially western countries some of which are faulty and outdated. Whereas, in those countries, strict vehicle inspections force cars out of circulation after just a few years. Where do these used cars end up? Africa of course. These cars run on fossil fuel and have a lifespan of upto 15 years. The known impact of fossil fuel on humanity and the environment from air pollution and water pollution to global warming are dangerously enormous.

Why do Africans settle for used cars?

One reason for this is the low-average income and the lack of a sizeable middle-class population. Also, the high lending rates have made ownership of a car restricted only to the wealthy and prosperous. In Nigeria for instance, one of the biggest economies of the continent has a loan interest rate of about 12%. This makes taking a car loan an expensive proposition, which is hindering the automotive market in the country.

Africa is grappling with the challenge of transitioning to clean energy systems solutions such as solar and electric automobiles. From solar powered street lights to solar powered homes. The merits of this cheap, alternative source of  sustainable energy are countless. Therefore, the need for electric automobile in Africa can’t likewise be overemphasized.

But however, as a country struggling with epileptic power supply, the question lies,

Is it feasible to embark on such project and make headway?

Senator Ben Murray Bruce of Nigeria sponsored an electric automobile Bill which sort to phase out petrol vehicles and introduce electric automobiles by 2035. This bill was turned down by the 8th Assembly of the Nigerian senate which inturn prompted his tweet. “You can’t stop the future, and let me tell you, electric cars are the future. The reality in the world today is that electric cars would soon outsell regular [internal combustion] cars.

The future of electric automobiles”. One cannot agree less with the ‘common sense’ mantra Senator. With the recent sightings of Electric Cars in Nigeria, perhaps, it appears that Nigerians were too hasty in turning down the bill. It could be recalled that the bill received scathing remarks, scorn and ridiculed in several quarters probably owing to the fact that the country largely depends on fossil fuel and equally struggling with it’s own demon of epileptic power supply.

One may ask what are the advantages of this electric cars and why the much hype?

Tesla the American electric vehicle and clean energy company based in Palo Alto, California is  accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy with electric cars, solar panels and integrated renewable energy.

Tesla electric automobile strategy hasn’t been like other self driving vehicle developers. As they all bet on lidar technology which is too expensive to go massive. For this reason, Tesla concluded that a series of sensors, cameras, and a very specific AI computer designed for self-driving can help to win the race in this field. Tesla is far ahead in this field as it has remarkably mixed different affordable technologies to enable AI software be as autonomous as possible.

It will aim to reinvent automobiles industry in Africa with the options it brings to table, these cars can easily be operated and maintained at a very low cost owing to the fact that electricity is cheaper than fuel, which brings the saved cost to an obvious amount.

Also, accidental deaths which are common on African roads can be averted with this AI electric cars.

Tesla doesn’t relent in it’s quest to dazzle the world with its innovative inventions. Their products become even more affordable and available. At about 31 million Naira, any wealthy Nigerian can afford to own one. Accompanied with it’s beautiful exterior crafted body one can’t help but admire the future of these electric AI powered vehicles.

The question now lies, can Africans afford to transit to electric automobile?

Mark Essien lends an idea on what Nigeria cum Africa can do to make available cheap electric cars.

“An ‘Electrification’ master-plan will be announced. Within 5 years, all cars older than 15 years must convert to an electric engine. Within 10 years, all cars older than 5 years. Within 15 years, only electric cars will be allowed. The import of solar panels and lithium ion batteries will be duty free and clearance free. They can be brought in through any of the ports (except Lagos port). I forgot to add, btw, that Lagos port will be forbidden from importing cars – only all the other ports.”

He further stated; “Electric motors (and controllers) can also be imported without clearance. They will be bulk imported from China. Manufacturers will be encouraged to also produce locally. There will be monthly training sessions teaching mechanics how to convert cars to electric.

Within a few years, capacity is there, cars will start getting converted enmasse. Transporters must convert within 3years,

Within the space of 10 years, Nigeria has done a huge migration away from environment-destroying fossil fuels, they have created off-grid electricity for 10s of millions of people, and they have created a new globally relevant category of people who can build electric cars.”

In conclusion, this efficient innovation in producing electric cars are all feasible with the support of African Government rethinking the future.

Post Covid19 Era: What Every Freelancer Should Leverage on Now

Source: Peter Olexa

With the COVID-19 rife, and having the potential to span several months, adept entrepreneurs, as well as skilled freelancers, are taking advantage of the ongoing trend to work from home (WPH) Even though most businesses offer remote services before now, a complete telework environment is no easy feat for a full-blown business unit compared to standalone freelancers.

Whereas the former is entirely new to the system, the latter is already well-versed with rendering their services from home; therefore, they are looking for more ways to exploit and evolve the current course of service provision to the next level.

And as most government economies – such as the UK and Singapore, are offering more earnings to freelancers throughout the pandemic, teleworking is not a bad idea at this time. By any chance, this happens to be the best time to work remotely.

In this discourse, I would pinpoint the potential pitfalls to lookouts for, in addition to remedies and possible workarounds to maintain a persistent working relationship between you – as a freelancer, and your clientele.

That said, if you are a freelancer, already exposed to the idea of working remotely or a business looking to extend your services through teleworking amidst an era of global pestilence, then this guide is a must READ!

The Current State of the Freelance Economy
According to expert predictions, Europe accounts for 35.5% of the freelancing community, including a reasonable number from the US working population – that amasses over $1 trillion annually in the US alone. Another notable source highlights that almost 30 million freelancers are long term oriented.

While the combination of the top-tier freelancing platforms – Fiverr, Upwork, and Freelancer, incorporates 73% of freelancers, others find jobs through social media networks, referrals, and business-oriented networking sites such as LinkedIn.

Given the statistics, the competitive nature of the freelancing niche becomes very obvious. Hence to thrive on in this free-enterprise market, it is expected of freelancers to be at their A-game.

More so, the freelance space is a next-generation paradigm shift from the conventional way of rendering professional services with a broader outreach. And as such, Millennials predominates this niche. Hence, if you fall under these demographics, then things are going to be a lot easier for you.

If otherwise, do not panic. Below are some tips and tricks to keep you ahead of the game amidst the current economic recession.

Expand Your Horizon
Due to the current situation, most people are resulting in more remote services such as remote schools and learning institutions, etc., which is the best time for freelancers to expand their serviceability and outreach.

Expanding your serviceability could be done in several ways such as; learning new skills, creating multiple job exposure channels as well as signing up for more than one freelancing platform such as Upwork and Fiverr.

You could also try other business-oriented networking platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook Groups to increase your project acquisition scope.

In order not to get swamped by the growing number of freelancers in the space and to maintain a more than average visibility level, you would need to find a sustainable way of scoring freelance jobs. The idea here is not to rely on a single freelancing platform; neither do you have to rely only on freelancing platforms. Thus, by being able to harness and leverage your presence on other business networking platforms, you can create a personal brand as a freelancer that steadily brings in clients – and profits.

Reset Your Price Point
Because consistency and constant communication are critical, it more than essential to build a healthy relationship with a client on a fair and reasonable price over time. As opposed to bidding for a one-time gig that comes with a huge payment.

For example, most people would first contract a freelancer for a $5 gig that spans multiple hours to several weeks or months – which could eventually amount to a little over a thousand dollars in gross income, rather than offer $100 for a single job.

This methodology does not only improve a freelancer-to-client relationship, but it also guarantees a steady income stream. Thus, creating an avenue for other opportunities from clients such as payment for certifications, constant tips and bonuses, introduction to other clients, and also helping freelancers succeed in more ways than the traditional business procedure.

Find the Most Profitable Fields
Pro freelancers are also adroit researchers. Searching is a freelancer’s best tool; hence as a freelancer, you never stop learning. You should always be on the lookout for the trending fields with higher paychecks, as well as go the extra mile – enroll for an online course if the need be, just to acquire these new skill sets.

Keep in mind that it is never too late to learn that skill you had always wanted to develop. Notably, a diversified freelancer is a well-paid freelancer.

Also, while searching for trending and more profitable fields to leverage on, it is important to make a list of those areas of work that are closer to what you already know. Be sure to select only the gigs that you feel most enthusiastic about learning. By so, you avoid being a jack of all trade as you only focus on things you are already versed in.

Use the “FSF Strategy”
Since self-employed entrepreneurs cannot afford a human resource department to handle the financial loss that results from a client’s cancellation order. Jurists recommends the specification of a clearly defined cancellation and rescheduling policy in the business owner’s (freelancer’s) contracts. Considering that the industry standard duration within which a client can cancel or reschedule and forfeit, only the retainer is 30 days before the event. Through this, freelancers are protected by the FSF clause – Slated to protect freelancers if they cannot perform services less than 30 days prior, due to unavoidable circumstances. The FSB clause comprises of the;

– Force Majeure Clause: which is a French term for “superior force,” which is a clause that pardons a freelancer from performing an outlined service as a result of unforeseen events such as an epidemic.

– Safe Working Environment Clause: This clause retains the power to terminate any service in the event of precarious circumstances such as a working environment being affected with a plague.

– Failure of Company to Perform Services Clause: Is a clause that clarifies the procedure should you not be able to perform your services.

Repackage and Rescale
As a multifaceted freelancer, your number one goal should be to efficiently showcase your wide range of skills and abilities to your customers. You do not want to get prospective customers caught up between the myriad of services you offer. Neither would you want them to find it challenging to understand what is needed, subsequently struggling to formulate an order. The trick here is to package and organize your services into multiple tiers and categories.

For instance, if you offer services in more than one web development technology/framework, it is best to have a separate gig for every one of them rather than have all packed into a single gig. That way, a client looking to contract your service for a specific technology could easily navigate to the intended, in no time. The processes described above helps freelancers increase their profit margin as well as convert a valid number of prospective clients into actual customers.
